FROM THE REPAIR YARD:
“PAIVI” seen under repair of bow damage at Mutzelfeldtwerft in Amerikahaven, Cuxhaven / Germany, 11 May 2022. (In time of writing – still there)
Vessel collided with the “BJOERKOE”, in the Kiel Canal close to Levensau Bridge, 29 March 2022, sailing in opposite diretions.
“PAIVI” was transiting Canal in western direction, while “BJOERKOE” was transiting in eastern direction. Both ships’ bow sections and forecastles were breached and severely damaged.
