Guard vessel “KARM HANNAH” / reg. Åkrehamn, left Skudeneshavn / Norway today, 10 June 2022, under tow by the Danish tug “DOLPHIN” (IMO: 9507386).
“KARM HANNAH” arrived Skudeneshavn in February 2020 (acc to Marinetraffic), and has been laid up here since then.
According to AIS on the tug, the destination is Svendborg DK, but the Danish ship breakers Smedegaarden AS., Esbjerg announced that they have the “KARM HANNAH” for sale, and therefore i assume Esbjerg is her final destination.
Will believe that if she is not sold in “one piece”, equipment that is still usable will be dismantled and sold, before she is finally broken up and recycled.
From 03/2021 vessel was owned by Frøyanes AS., Stadlandet / Norway, but today 10 June 2022, she was transferred to Norsk Skipsbrukt AS., Færvik / Norway.
