    • The “AYLA”  loaded with about 3,000 metric tonnes of steel scrap, capsized and sank due to stormy weather in position 31 11 40 N, 029 46 33 E, at the outer anchorage of Alexandria / Egypt, March 11, 2022, around 12.25 p.m. UTC. Probably due to a cargo shift the vessel had developed an increasing list to starboard side and finally rolled over and sank stern first. All 10 crew members safely evacuated by Egyptian naval forces. No pollution reported.
