  • 12 September 1977 – Keel laid.
  • September 1978 – Launched.
  • August 1979 – Completed.
  • “SAPE” from delivery in 1980 until 1990
  • “SEABOARD SAPPHIRE” from 1990 until 1995
    • Converted from supply (PSV) to standby / safety vessel. 
    • From 02/1990 – UK flag.
  • “HORNBECK SAPPHIRE” from 1995 until 1997
    • Owned by Hornbeck Offshore.
  • “SAPPHIRE TIDE” from 1997 until 2000
  • “BUE CANNA” from 2000 until 2007
  • “VIKING CANNA” a period in 2007
  • “VOS CANNA” from 2007 until breaking in 2010.
    • From 06/2007 – Owned by Offshore Support Vessels IV. – Care of Vroon Offshore Services Ltd., Aberdeen / United Kingdom.
    • 2010 – Broken up at Smedegaarden Shipbreakers in Esbjerg / Denmark.
